Oh, Craigslist! Let me count the ways...

Craigslist and I go way back. Like, '06 way back. No one really knew what it was in my area at the time. Now I don't even remember how I came across it but it was invaluable to me as a nesting-in-the-winter mama. We cleaned out so many things in the house that weren't needed and were able to find some truly wonderful pieces to add to our home.

Like this antique oak table/6 chairs(bought separately)(450$):

And this large buffet-a must with our lack of closets!(90$):

And this antique secretary desk complete with key and hiding spots!(250$):

And this 8' wool braided rug(75$):

And this 5' wool Pottery Barn nursery rug(75$):

And this piano(free, along with the bench and bartered tuning):

I could go on and on and on! About half my house is furnished in Craigslist. I love the antique items and you can't beat the prices there versus in an actual antique shop. My personal favorite to search is for Pottery Barn items. Not that we have gotten a lot, but I did get a great toddler bed and wool rug.

Our most recent purchase was this sweet new ride for the prince(25$):

What fun things have you bought or sold on Craigslist? One man's trash is another man's treasure!

I really love Craigslist! We bought a solid oak butcher block style dining table a few years ago .... for $30! It had some rough spots on top, but we stripped it down and refinished it. It's beautiful!
