A Merry Fluffy Christmas Spotlight- Green Mountain Wee Woolies

Welcome to our November spotlights on the wonderful people sponsoring Adventures in Green Living for the upcoming A Merry Fluffy Christmas! Please take a moment to read about each sponsor and visit their shop.

I'm really excited to introduce to my readers an etsy shop full of the most wonderful Waldorf inspired toys, kits and even cloth diaper covers: Green Mountain Wee Woolies! They have been on Etsy since 2005 and have close to 2,000, 100% feedbacks. That says something! Ten of them are probably mine.

Green Mountain Wee Woolies are located in the Green Mountains of Vermont on a small family farm. Valerie, the talented WAHM of the shop, loves spinning, felting and knitting. You'll find her items made of natural materials like wool, silk, angora, alpaca, etc. She also has another etsy shop, Farm Fresh Fibers, where they offer their own Vermont farm yarn!

From experience I've found everything to be very well made. Just some of the items I've personally purchased are a gnome house and gnomes, felted, knit and wool balls, knitted doll outfit and knotted teething dolls. They have all taken a great amount of abuse love and are played with on a daily basis by multiple children of varying ages.

Our much loved gnome home and gnomes!
The Boob Man and one of his fav balls.
Looking for something better than the icky plastic play food you find in stores? Check out these sweet knitted farmers market fruits! We love all of our knitted play food. Unfortunately, so does the cat.

How about a soft knit outfit for your little one's dolly? It would make a perfect Christmas gift!

For someone bitty and new, this wool snuggle sack would be so cozy during cold nights- also wonderful for midnight diaper changes due to the drawstring bottom! I especially love the rosette detailing.

There are so many amazing items that Green Mountain Wee Woolies offers- you could easily be set for several years on birthday and Christmas gifts. And not only would you be getting awesome, natural toys that will help expand your child's imagination, you'd also be supporting a work at home mom and her family.

Thanks to Valerie's generosity, one lucky reader will win a $25 gift certificate to their shop! I won't lie. I'm jealous. Because you want to win, you'll want to head over to their blog and follow them there and on twitter, too. Don't twitter? You can like them on facebook! Bank those extra entries now so you can move through each giveaway quickly come next week.
